We spent a week in Longboat Key and had a very relaxing (for the most part - can you ever really relax with kids?). Our days were spent going to the beach and pool in the morning and then the beach and pool after nap. We went out to dinner at Mar Vista one evening and got to sit under the trees on the bay - beautiful evening out. Sarah and Anna came to visit on day and the Zevin family came another day. And of course Grandma came a couple days too. It was a great family trip and we hope to go back next year... but maybe for a couple days less. :)
One funny story... we were going to breakfast one morning at a cafe on the beach with outdoor seating. As we walked up to be seated, Brennan decided he wanted to go on the beach. I followed him with my camera, but all the sudden I realized he was moving very fast. I started running after him, but it was too late. He got to the water and dove in, right into a wave - fully clothed. Jay said all the restaurant customers were laughing - glad he put on a good show for them. Poor Brennan had to spend breakfast without a shirt on and with wet shorts. Definitely a great memory of the trip!

gosh, these pictures are so great. first off, i absolutely love reagan's little green dress/cover up. seriously, love it. second...i laughed at the picture of reagan consoling brennan. it is so hilarious to me that this happens. whenever i would tell brennan "no" or change my tone with him, he would run off and start crying to reagan and she would hug him and make him feel better. it's so cute!
